Build a Robot competition

Come to St. Patrick’s Hall on Friday 3pm-6pm and Saturday 2pm-4pm to demonstrate and display your robot. Winners will be judged at 4pm on Saturday

  • Dimensions should be no more than 50cm cubed. If you are building bigger than that, please let us know and we can discuss potential display locations.
  • You can use modern robotic kits or more primitive means. Prizes will be for inventiveness and ingenuity, both in build style and application to creative uses – anybody can buy and build but what can you do? Can you make us laugh?
  • This is expected to be a display and demonstration event only – if you wish your robot to fight another to the death (!), you should get together with other builders to agree battles. If you intend to do this, you must inform the festival committee at least one month before the festival.
