To all of the committee, helpers and volunteers over the week, a very big thank you from a member of the community. It was a joy and a pleasure to have witnesed the overall success of the festival. A hugh amount of work has gone into this festival for it to have been so successful and it is a credit to one and all for the work, time and committment you put in. It was fantastic to see people enjoying themselves and having fun around the village, it lifted everyone’s spirit and as a community I think it made us all the stronger for it. Well, well done again. Dear Ann-Marie, Just a quick note to thank you for the wonderful festival in Dunshaughlin last weekend. As a local businessman it was a great opportunity to showcase my restaurants to festival goers who may not have previously been aware of my restaurants. We certainly picked up additional business over the weekend and hope that our presence at the festival will lead to long term gain as well. I appreciate that it was the first year of the festival, so there were bound to be teething problems, but I have to say the organising committee on the day, yourself in particular, rose to every challenge facing you and endeavoured to put on an event which I think you should be very proud of as I do know how much time
& effort goes into the planning of an event such as this. The village of Dunshaughlin itself had a great buzz throughout the weekend, it was just a pity about the downpours on Sunday, but even you can’t control the weather. If you plan to follow on from the success of this year’s festival by making it an annual event, please count me in as a future stall holder. Once again thank you for all your help. Yours sincerely,
